Internal bus expansion module OM75601-C1 (FAPI.421459.756-01)

The OM756 module, in combination with the OM757 connection cable and response module, allows a contiguous set of Fastwel I/O peripheral modules to be split into several separate sets of modules that are spatially separated but share a common controller. The OM756 is installed in the first adjacent module set instead of the OM750 bus termination module, and the OM757 is installed in the leftmost position of the second adjacent module set. The adjacent module set connected to the OM757 supports all communication and diagnostic functions. The OM756 and OM757 modules are connected to each other using a "straight" TIA/EIA-568-B cable. The total length of these cables must not exceed 5 metres. If the cable length exceeds 1 metre, it is recommended to use shielded twisted pair S/FTP or SF/FTP CAT-5/E/6.
