D6300-80 type double inlet centrifugal pumps and electric pump units on their basis are designed for pumping water and liquids with viscosity and chemical activity similar to water, with temperature up to 85 0C, containing solid inclusions by mass not more than 0,05%, size not more than 0,2 mm and microhardness not more than 6,5 GPa (650 kgf/mm2). D type pump is a centrifugal horizontal single-stage volute type pump with double-entry impeller and gland type end seals. The principle of operation of the pump is to convert the mechanical energy of the drive from an external source (motor) into hydraulic energy of the liquid flow.
