Centrifugal Pump 1K 8/18 - Ideal for Pumping Technical Water

The centrifugal cantilever pumps type K, 1K and electric pump units on their basis are designed for pumping process water (except sea water), as well as other liquids similar to water in density, viscosity, chemical activity with pH=6...9, with the content of solid inclusions not more than 1% by weight, size not more than 0,2 mm. The pump casing is a cast iron casting with inlet and outlet connections, spiral-ring outlet and support legs. The inlet connection is located along the axis of rotation, the outlet connection is directed vertically upwards and is located in the same plane as the axis of rotation.

The pump shaft is driven by an electric motor through a sleeve-finger coupling. Other types of coupling can be used. The shaft is supported by two angular contact or radial bearings mounted in a bracket.
