Description
Elemer-BRIZ series spark protection barriers are designed for installation in control cabinets. The devices provide explosion protection of [Ex ia Ga] IIC and 2Ex nA [ia Ga] IIC T4 Gc X type. The active intrinsic protection barrier ELEMER-BRIZ TM2-Ex with extended functionality enables measurements to be carried out using a 4-wire circuit. Forms an intrinsically safe circuit to the hazardous area, is configurable and operates via HART version 7. It has a separate signalling device. Barriers ELEMER-BRIZ TM2-Ex are designed to protect equipment operating in potentially hazardous areas with possible detonation. This problem is actual for enterprises of oil, gas and chemical industries. Due to the compact size of the housing thickness of only 12.5 (17.5) mm, ELEMER-BRIZ TM2-Ex are placed in the automation cabinet in the explosion-proof zone on a DIN-rail, which allows to significantly save useful space of the cabinet, and protect devices operating inside the hazardous area.
