FAQ
•What safety standards do the playground structures meet?
Manufacturers certify equipment under GOST playground-safety standards, which regulate fall heights, entrapment gaps, impact zones and structural strength - parameters closely parallel to international playground norms. Conformity certificates and structural documentation ship with the order. If your municipality requires assessment under a specific national or EN-type standard, discuss it upfront; several exporters have experience preparing such dossiers.
•How does installation work without the manufacturer on site?
Equipment arrives as marked, flat-packed kits with assembly drawings, anchoring schemes and a foundation plan specifying concrete dimensions. Any competent metalwork or construction crew assembles a standard complex in several days. Manufacturers provide remote support by video call during assembly, and supervision visits can be arranged for large park projects at cost.
•Will coatings and plastics survive intense sun and heat?
Steel parts are powder-coated and handle heat well; the question is plastic and plywood elements. For high-UV regions, specify UV-stabilized HDPE panels and slides, and light colors that reduce surface temperature - children touch this equipment. Manufacturers adapt material selection for desert climates on request; put your climate in the inquiry.
•What lead times and shipping volumes should a park project plan for?
Production of a typical complex takes 30-45 days after drawings are approved; large park orders run 60-90 days. Disassembled equipment packs densely - several medium complexes fit one 40-foot container. Sea freight to the Gulf or Africa adds 30-45 days from Novorossiysk or St. Petersburg; Central Asia receives trucks in about two weeks.
•Can equipment be customized with our colors and themes?
Yes, color schemes are chosen per order at no extra cost since powder coating is applied to order anyway. Themed panels, municipal logos and local-language signage are routine additions. Fully custom structures - non-standard towers, themed compositions - are quoted from sketches, typically adding 2-4 weeks of design and approval time.
•Is there a warranty, and how are spare parts handled afterward?
Manufacturers typically warrant structures for 12-24 months and rate them for years of public service. Wear items - swing suspensions, rope elements, slide fixings - are catalogued by part number, so reorder happens by email and parts travel as small parcels. Order a recommended spare-part kit with the initial shipment; it is cheap insurance for remote sites.
