Universal turning and screw-cutting machine model RT817-5 is designed to perform a variety of turning operations, including taper turning and thread cutting: metric, inch, modular, pitched. The rigidity, vibration resistance and temperature stability of the design provide the necessary accuracy of machining. Technical characteristics and rigidity of the machine allow to fully use the capabilities of high-speed cutting and carbide tools when machining both structural materials and non-ferrous metals and alloys. Type of climatic execution UHL4 according to GOST 15150-69. Model and modifications of the machine are manufactured according to TU 28.41.21-020-26706140-2017, have similar characteristics and basic equipment, differing in length and diameter of processing of the product itself.
