Universal turning and screw-cutting machine model RT817-8 is designed to perform a variety of turning operations, including taper turning and thread cutting: metric, inch, modular, pitched. The rigidity, vibration resistance and temperature stability of the design ensure the required machining accuracy. Technical characteristics and rigidity of the machine allow to fully use the capabilities of high-speed cutting and carbide tools when machining both structural materials and non-ferrous metals and alloys.

Type of climatic execution UHL4 according to GOST 15150-69. Model and modifications of the machine are made according to TU 28.41.21-020-26706140-2017, have similar characteristics and basic equipment, differing in length and diameter of processing of the product itself.
