Ultrasonic Level Sensor for Fuel Measurement DTU-X - Precision Monitoring

The ultrasonic level sensors DTU-X, useful model "Fuel level sensor" (hereinafter - DTU-X) are designed to measure the level and density of diesel fuel according to GOST 305-2013, mark L, Z, A, temperature measurements in the fuel tank of diesel locomotive and transfer information via RS-485 type interface. DTU-X consists of ultrasonic radiator, measuring tube, tube with temperature sensors and electronic unit. The principle of operation of DTU-X is based on the property of ultrasonic signal reflection from the interface between two media and dependence of ultrasonic signal propagation speed in diesel fuel on its density. DTU-X are produced in versions differing in the upper limit of fuel level measurement. In the designation X - corresponds to the version defining the upper limit of fuel level measurement.
