Tibial pin rod set

For tibial osteosynthesis. The pin is universal, suitable for left and right limb. The proximal part of the pin is 11 mm and has a bevelled chamfer in the frontal projection in order not to irritate the soft tissues.

The proximal part transitions to the distal part at an angle of 9 degrees after 85 mm. The thickened proximal part of the rod has 4 holes with a diameter of 5 mm, 2 round static holes are located at an angle of 45 degrees to the frontal and sagittal plane and simultaneously at an angle of 90 degrees to the proximal part of the pin for oblique insertion of screws. One oval dynamic hole is positioned medial-laterally for screw insertion in the frontal plane.

One circular static hole is located in the medial-lateral direction for driving screws in the frontal plane. All holes have a locking mechanism to hold the screws in the pin. The pin is supplied complete with screws and plug (optional).
