Pin rod for proximal humerus set Factory Direct

For osteosynthesis of the humerus. The pin is anatomically predisagonal. It has a 4 degree bend in the frontal plane for optimal entry into the insertion point.

Designed for insertion through a point 1 cm medial to the apex of the greater tuberosity. There are at least 5 round holes 4.5 mm in diameter and at least one oval hole 4.5 mm in diameter in the proximal region. All round holes are angularly stable.

The screws provide multi-plane fixation. The outermost screws are positioned at 40 degrees relative to an imaginary centre, and the inner screws at 15 degrees each. Two screws are positioned horizontally.

Three screws are at a 45 degree angle. There are three holes in the distal part: 1 circular static hole located in medial-lateral position for inserting the screws in the frontal plane and 2 oval dynamic holes. The pin is supplied complete with screws and plug (optional).
