Description

The BT16A thruster is a reliable means of active ship steering. BT16A is used on ships of unlimited navigation area with ice reinforcement up to "Arc4". The scheme of power transmission from the motor shaft to the propeller is L-shaped. By means of the frequency converter of the electric motor the smooth regulation of speed and reversal of the propeller is provided. Power of the electric motor is 500kW. Generated traction force is 71 kN.
