Fully Rotatable AT40A1 Thruster Steering Column for Efficient Maneuvering

AT40A1 is a 4,500 kW push-type full-turn propulsion and steering column. The DRC enables the vessel to provide all running modes and manoeuvring. It is used as the main propulsor on ships of unlimited navigation area with ice strengthening up to "Arc4" according to RS classification, which allows the vessel to move in ice up to 0.8 m thick.

AT40A1 can be used on ships of various purposes, which are subject to increased requirements to thrust, manoeuvrability and controllability. It provides improved manoeuvrability of the vessel. It is possible to reverse by turning the columns without changing the direction of rotation of the propellers, and in some cases - to move the vessel by lag.
