The choke-transformer of DTM-0, 17-1000M type is intended for installation on the sections of metro railways equipped with AC autoblocking and DC electric traction in tunnels and open exits. The choke-transformer is designed to pass the rated value of direct current of 1000A in electric traction through each section of the main winding. The middle winding lead is rated for a current of 2000A.

The choke-transformer operates in the temperature range from minus 50C to 45C and is manufactured in climatic version U, category 1 according to GOST 15150-69. According to the method of protection of a person from electric shock the choke-transformer belongs to class 0 of GOST 12. 2.
