Description
The synthetic aperture radar (SAR) of "Compact" type is designed for radar imaging of land and water surfaces from aircraft carriers of various types with spatial resolution from 0.5 to 3.5 m.
Compared to other types of aviation survey, the use of RCA has the following advantages:
- round-the-clock and all-weather surveying;
- possibility to work through smoke and dust;
- no need to fly directly over the surveyed object;
- wide survey band (15 kilometres).
Small-sized Compact-type SARs can be used in various fields. The basic software allows carrying out thematic processing in the interests of different customers:
- forestry;
- emergency situations;
- oil and gas production;
- coast guard;
- territorial administration and mapping;
- environmental policing;
- oceanology and fisheries.
