The device is designed for diagnostics, parameter control, processing and presentation of control results in digital and graphical form, issuing recommendations and instructions for setting parameters of diesel-generator units of diesel locomotives during tests (rheostatic and non-rheostatic) in conditions of locomotive depots and repair plants.
