Description
The software and hardware complex of acoustic positioning and mechanical control of towed seismocosms contains modules of mechanical control - up to 30 pieces for one seismocosm and 300 pieces for 3D seismic survey system consisting of 10 seismocosms.
The modules are mounted at a certain distance along the seismic slice and allow to dynamically hold it at a given depth.
The attachable module of mechanical depth control of towed seismic slides is designed to stabilise and control the spatial position of seismic slides during 2D and 3D seismic acquisition
FEATURES:
The acoustic positioning modules of the APBS PAC of towed seismic slides perform the following functions:
- emission of acoustic signals
- reception of signals emitted by correspondent modules attached to other seismic slopes
- measurement of time delays
- depth measurement
- transmission of time delays and depth measurement results to the onboard signal acquisition and processing module.
