NTK-650 Pulsating Current Traction Electric Motor for Wheel Pair Drive

Electric traction motor NTK-650 is designed for individual drive of wheel pairs of traction unit NP1. The motor is made for axle-axle suspension with sliding bearings and is used as part of the mechanical drive of the first class with two-way torque transmission. The traction motor is a six-pole compensated pulsating current machine with series excitation and independent ventilation system. For ease of maintenance in operation of the collector-brush unit, the motor is equipped with a swivelling traverse. Insulated coils of main and additional poles together with cores are impregnated in epoxy compound and after baking represent a single monolithic block. The electric motor complies with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 001/2011.
