Gas meters KTM100 RUS are designed for measurement and calculation of volumetric flow rate, gas volume under operating and standard conditions, mass flow rate, molar mass of various non-aggressive and aggressive gases and vapour, including natural, associated petroleum and flare gases in the single-phase parameter range.
Description of measuring instrument
KTM100 RUS gas meters work on the principle of measuring the difference of ultrasonic pulse transit time. Receiving units are installed on both sides of the channel/pipeline at a certain angle to the gas flow. The transceiver units have piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers that work alternately as a receiver and transmitter. The sound pulses are sent at an angle to the direction of the gas flow. Depending on the angle and velocity of the gas flow, different propagation times for a particular direction of the sound pulses are observed as a result of the effects of propulsion and braking.
