Frequency converters are designed for control, automation, protection, signalling of asynchronous electric motors in various industries. Converters by purpose are divided into types:
VLT® Micro Drive - for simple modes of control of small capacity motors in all industries; VLT® HVAC Basic Drive - for simple modes of motor control in ventilation and air conditioning systems; VLT® HVAC Drive - for complex modes of motor control in ventilation and air conditioning systems;
VLT® AQUA Drive - for complex modes of pump motor control; VLT® Automation Drive - for various modes of motor control in all industries; Mining Drive - for applications with increased overload capacity;
Well Pump Control (WPC): - For controlling deep well rod pumps (BOP) and electric screw pumps (ESP).
