Control unit (CU) of the valve converter bridge module BVPM-800/120-UHL4.2, is designed to operate as a part of the high-voltage thyristor valve module.
Technical characteristics
1.1The power supply unit shall provide the control unit supply voltage within (255...345) V.
1.2When positive polarity voltage pulses are applied to the DCN input, the LED at the DCN output of the control unit shall emit light pulses or packs of light pulses with their beginning at the moment when the voltage reaches the threshold level of 9...20 V. The duration of light pulses shall be not less than 5 µs.
1.3When a light pulse is applied to the input of the control unit, the unit shall produce current pulses to control the power thyristor, the forms and parameters of which shall correspond to those given in Annex 2.
