Condensate Pump Kс 50-55 for Thermal Power Plants and Applications

Condensate pumps of Ks 50-55 type and electric pump units on their basis are designed for pumping condensate in steam and water networks of thermal power plants operating on organic fuel, as well as liquids similar to condensate in viscosity and chemical activity. The pump is centrifugal, horizontal, single-casing, sectional, with one-sided arrangement of wheels, with annular condensate inlet and outlet. Pump and motor rotors are connected via a resilient sleeve and toe coupling. Unloading of the pump rotor from axial forces is realised by means of an unloading drum. The rotor end seals are of the gland type, made of modern materials based on thermally expanded graphite, with coolant supply.
