KVARTA, KVARTA-R, KVARTA-R1 and KVARTA-R1D are designed to measure and display the volume of fuel, calculate the mass of fuel in the fuel tanks of diesel locomotives or special self-propelled rolling stock (hereinafter - SMPS), receive signals from the mechanisms of SMPS or diesel locomotive, calculate the shaft speed of diesel generator set (hereinafter - DGU), receiving and decoding of navigation messages from the constellation of satellites of the global positioning system GLONASS (RF) or GPS (USA), transfer of the received information via GSM/GPRS channel to the user's server, transfer of information to external devices and recording of information in an external storage device - USB-flash-drive.
