CNC Wheel Turning Machine RT905F3 for Precision Railway Wheel Processing

The special wheel turning machine with CNC model RT905F3 is intended for turning on rolling profile of wagon wheel sets of railway rolling stock with track gauge 1520 (1524) mm on rolling profile with rolling out from under the wagon. The design of the machine allows to install wheelsets both with and without axles. The machine can be integrated into the in-line technological line for wheel sets repair.

The machine layout is portal, through and through design with a rigid cast iron solid cast bed. All working guides are made in the form of steel slats and hardened to high hardness, which significantly increases the service life of the machine. Two spindle headstocks driven by two adjustable asynchronous electric motors ensure machining of wheel sets with large cutting depths.
