Classical precision lathe with numerical control (CNC) model 16B16T1 / 16B16T1M is used in small-, medium-, large-scale production for turning parts in semi-automatic cycle, and in automatic cycle when equipped with automatic means of loading and unloading workpieces.
Design features and advantages:
A variety of turning operations including machining of parts with curved, stepped profile, cutting of different types of threads in semi-automatic cycle;
8-position tool head (possibility to set a sufficient number of tools for complex machining of a part or for performing group tool settings); precision servo feed drives;
CNC device with the possibility of programming both from the operator's workplace and from external programme carriers;
pneumomechanical clamping of the workpiece in the spindle chuck; electromechanical adjustable clamping of the workpiece by the centre of the tailstock;
etc.
