Description
The flaw detector is designed to detect surface defects with opening more than 0,002 mm, depth more than 0,02 mm, length more than 3 mm of steel cylindrical rollers with diameter 32 mm and length 52 mm of rolling bearings No. 2726, used in the axlebox units of freight and passenger cars.
VD-211.5M automated eddy current flaw detector is registered in the State Register of Measurement Devices under No. 48986-12. Type approval of eddy current automated flaw detectors for rollers VD-211.5M, VD-211.51M, VD-211.15M is approved by the Order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology dated 08 February 2012 No. 78. Type approval certificate - RU.C.27.003.A No. 45402.
Thanks to the use of two-channel sensors VD-211.5M reveals the minimum size of detectable cracks.
The rolls are divided into serviceable and rejected (defective) rolls. There is a mode of sorting (secondary control) rejected rolls by the criterion set by the operator.
