Description
The module has eight single-wire channels for analogue input and measurement of DC voltage signal values in the ranges 0...5 V, 0...10 V, 5 V and 10 V, implemented on the basis of 16-bit serial approximation ADC. The common wire (analogue ground) of the signal sources is connected to the module via the lower side knife contact of the field power distribution, for which any field power input or potential distribution modules can be used. The upper side contact of the field power distribution (24 V) is not used in the module. The input channels of the module are provided with protection against overvoltages up to 30 V DC and against high energy microsecond and nanosecond impulse disturbances.
