Description

The module has eight single-wire channels for analogue input and measurement of DC signals in the ranges 0-5 mA, 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA, implemented on the basis of 16-bit ADC serial approximation. The common wire (analogue ground) of the signal sources is connected to the module through the lower side knife contact of the field power distribution, for which any input or field power potential distribution modules can be used. The input channels of the module are provided with protection against overvoltage up to 30 V DC and against high energy microsecond and nanosecond impulse interference.
