The device is designed for matrix switching of 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signals. It allows to connect any of 8 outputs to any of 8 inputs, including the connection of all outputs to the same input, without violating the necessary coordination of inputs and outputs.Control can be carried out from the front panel, in remote mode via Ethernet or from external control panels.Built-in cable correctors at the inputs automatically correct signals, carrier restorers at the outputs of the switch regenerate the shape of the signal.The switch has a non-volatile memory, with which the current configuration is restored.
When a reference video signal (SD Black Burst or HD tri-level sync) is applied, switching of the input signals will take place at the moment of the frame damping pulse of the external sync signal, according to SMPTE RP 168. The front panel has an OLED indicator to show the current status of the switching points.
