Description of measuring instrument
KTM100 RUS gas meters work on the principle of measuring the difference of ultrasonic pulse transit time. Receiving units are installed on both sides of the channel/pipeline at a certain angle to the gas flow.
The transceiver units have piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers that work alternately as a receiver and transmitter. The sound pulses are sent at an angle to the direction of the gas flow.
