The reducer is installed on the engine of special equipment (motor grader, bulldozer, etc.) with connection dimensions according to SAE 1 and serves for driving two hydraulic pumps with connection dimensions according to SAE E. The gearbox consists of a housing, a primary shaft with outer splines, two output shafts with inner splines, ball bearings on which the shafts are mounted in the housing, toothed gears mounted on the shafts.
Torque is transmitted between the shafts and gears by means of keys. Communication with the motor is carried out by means of a flexible coupling mounted on the splines of the primary shaft.
The hydraulic pumps are mounted on the gearbox housing and driven by the output shafts, into whose inner splines the pump shafts are inserted. The flexible coupling and the hydraulic pumps are not part of the gear unit.
