The insulators are intended for fixing and insulation of bare and insulated wires of CIP-3, PZV and PZVG type on overhead power lines and switchgears of power stations and substations of alternating current voltage of 10 kV with frequency up to 100 Hz at ambient temperature from minus 60 º? to plus 50 º?.

The wire can be fixed in the trough or on the neck of the insulator. Fastening to metal structures of supports (traverses) is carried out by means of bolt connection. The design of insulators of modification "A" allows to roll CIP-3, PZV and PZVG wires directly on the insulators without the use of rollers. This shortens the installation time and reduces its cost. After the wires are rolled on insulators of modification "A", they must be fixed in the trough or on the neck of the insulator on straight sections of the line and on the neck - when turning the line. Insulators of modification "Sh" are installed on pins with a diameter of 20-22 mm.
