Description
The SOZH-121 water hardness analyser (hereinafter referred to as the analyser) is designed to control the total content of calcium (½ Ca²¬+¬) and magnesium (½ Mg²¬+¬) ions in process and drinking water.
The analyser is based on the titrimetric method of measuring the total water hardness (TWH) of GOST R 52407 with photocolorimetric detection of the titration end point.
The analyser can be used to solve many technological problems at the enterprises of power engineering, food production and other industries, both as a part of ACS as an analytical sensor, and autonomously in the mode of continuous cyclic measurements of water hardness. The obtained results are transmitted to an external computer via "current loop" in the form of analogue signal 4 - 20 mA.
The measured information is displayed on the screen of the analyser's alphanumeric scoreboard and simultaneously transmitted to the external ACS. A warning signal is also issued if the predetermined value of total water hardness is exceeded.
