The cabinet accommodates active and passive telecommunication equipment designed to provide telephony and broadband access (broadband access) services using the technology of bringing optical fibre to the distribution cabinet (Fiber to the curb, FTTC), as well as cross-connection equipment, power supply unit (PSU), rechargeable battery and other auxiliary equipment of various manufacturers. The cabinet is installed on the street.
