Vacuum Evaporator DCS 50 for Efficient Aggressive Medium Processing

Vacuum evaporators are designed for evaporating aggressive media in vacuum. The whole peculiarity is that the evaporation process takes place in vacuum at low temperatures, the material used has high corrosion resistance to high concentrations of salts, which makes it possible to get crystallisation from the dissolved substance by supersaturation of the solution. A deep vacuum is created in the boiling chamber of the vacuum evaporator, which leads to earlier evaporation of water. Due to this method, the energy costs are considerably lower than in equipment using atmospheric pressure evaporation. During the vacuum evaporation process, the resulting vapour is not released into the atmosphere, but condenses to form a distillate that can be discharged into the sewer or reused. Another product of evaporation is the concentrate, a concentrated solution of salts.
