Demulsification Time Measurement Device for Oils "ADIM" - Quality Assessment Tool

Designed to determine the quality and possibility of further operation of petroleum turbine oils by the indicator "demulsification time" according to the norms of "Rules of technical operation of electric power stations and networks of the Russian Federation" (RD 34.20.501-95 RAO "UES of Russia") and "Instructions for operation of petroleum turbine oils" (RD 34.43.102-96 RAO "UES of Russia"). Regular control of oil oils demulsification time significantly increases the service life of power equipment, and it is more efficient to use demulsifying additives at the facilities: CHPP, GRES, NPP, generating companies. The operating principle of the apparatus consists in application of water bath for emulsification of oil sample by dry steam with subsequent determination of time of oil separation from water.

The apparatus is of desktop type. Simple and convenient in operation, does not require special cabinets, hoods, water supply, there are no special requirements for ambient air temperature.
