Vacuum Circuit Breakers for 6(10) kV Series VR6K - Reliable Electrical Switching

Vacuum circuit breakers of series ??6? are designed for switching of electric circuits of alternating current with rated voltage 6(10) kV and frequency 50(60) Hz in normal and emergency modes of operation in systems with isolated or partially grounded neutral. VR6K switches are mainly used to replace electromagnetic switches VEM-6 in K-X and K-XXV cabinets at thermal and nuclear power plants.

BP6K are manufactured in earthquake-resistant version and are used for operation in premises at the height of 0...20,4 m at the maximum design earthquake (MDE) of 9 points on MSK-64 scale. Switches consist of three poles with cast vacuum arc suppression chambers (VAC), placed on a common base.
