Description
Rail flaw detector on phased arrays - KALMAR©, is designed for acceptance and scheduled ultrasonic inspection of welded joints of electrocontact and aluminium-thermite welding of railway rails (R50, R65, R75). There are two versions: stationary for use in the FPR and mobile - moved along the railway rail thread. Kalmar 32+ provides full scanning of the entire cross-section of the welded joint with automatic determination of the coordinates of occurrence and sizes of echo-signal bundles reflected from defects. Field of application - mainline and industrial railway tracks, underground railway tracks and rail-welding plants (RWP).
