UIC60 Type Switch 1/9 for Efficient Railway Track Change

Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one track to another on railway lines. The switch uses elastic fastening of frame rails and cross rails with a counter-rail with the use of special spring terminals. The switch is made with flexible sharps.

The transfer uses pads with high flanges and rubber-cord spacers between the rail sole and pads. The crossbar is made of high manganese steel of welded construction - rail ends are welded to the core. Counter rail, not connected to the track rail.

The shackles and frame rails are HFI hardened.
