Description

The transponder is designed to receive request and emit response signals for continuous determination of the slant range from the control point of its installation to the aircraft. It has an omnidirectional antenna and high radiating power. It consists of an antenna part, a section with radio electronic equipment and auxiliary devices. The transponder is built into the VOR 2700 or DVOR 2000 azimuthal beacon cabinet.
