Tramway tram line switch R50 according to section 878 (8605.00.000)

The tramway R50 arrow crossing according to ep. 878 (project 8605.00.000) is designed for transferring trams from one track to another. It consists of an outer and inner body with sharps (feathers) and a transfer mechanism.

The bodies are made in the form of castings from high manganese steel with welded rail ends and are fixed on pads. Turning sharps (feathers) are made of high-manganese steel. The switch can be equipped with a system of electric heating of sharps (feathers).

The transfer is operated outdoors in macroclimatic regions of temperate and cold climate as a product UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69. The transfer is designed to pass the rolling stock with wheel bandages according to GOST 25712-88.
