TOPAZ MU process bus interface devices

The TOPAZ MU process bus interface devices are manufactured according to the technical specifications TU 26.51.45-019-89466010-2019.
The devices belong to the class of Stand-Alone Merging Units (SAMU) and are intended for use as lower-level interface devices (ODU). The devices perform the function of analogue-to-digital conversion of input signals from current and voltage measuring transformers and transfer the measured data to the higher level in the Sampled Values format according to the IEC 61850-9-2 protocol.
Also, depending on the modification, the devices are designed to fulfil the following functions:
- tele-signalling (TS) of discrete state of objects;
- telecontrol (TC) of objects;
- discrete control of the presence of mains voltage (MF);
- transmission of TS and EF data via communication channels;
- reception and execution of TU commands, including via IEC 61850-8-1 protocol.
