Tester "Port-2M"

Purpose:
- measurement of optical radiation power and determination of losses in fibre optic light guides and cables.
- Identification of fibre in cassettes, detection of poor quality contacts, cracks, welding joints, breaks, kinks of optical fibre by visual method.
- diagnostics of global and local area networks components at physical and network levels.
- determination of active equipment.
- Ping-test: by IP address or by server name.
- DHCP-test: search for DHCP server in local networks.
- Determination of UTP, FTP type LAN-cables wiring scheme, fault character (short circuit, break) and distance to the fault.
- Detecting the violation of the twisted pair (pair splitting),
- inbuilt 1kHz generator to detect "own" cable in a bundle of other cables.
- Built-in LED torch for localised illumination of the place of work.
