To increase the voltage of "stars" up to the level of voltage of "delta" winding of HE and to provide uniform distribution of load current to the units in a series of electrolysis at parallel operation of transformers. The transformer is designed to supply four semiconductor bridge parallel-connected sections of converters under twelve-pulse rectification scheme with rectifier parameters 32,5 kA, 950V
