The BE-M1000 processor was developed by the Russian company Baikal Electronics on the basis of modern ARMv8 architecture, compatible with a wide range of system and application software, which greatly facilitates the implementation of devices based on it.
Baikal-M is a high-performance and compatible basis for universal workstations, providing the highest possible level of security due to the absence of hardware vulnerabilities and undeclared capabilities.
The device assumes operation under the Linux OS and can be equipped with any application programmes compatible with it, such as LibreOffice office application package, Firefox browser and many others.
