SUBMERSIBLE ASYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC MOTOR OF PAD-YA

Submersible asynchronous electric motor is a drive of centrifugal pump, converting electrical energy, which is supplied by power three-core cable from above in the area of suspension of the installation, into mechanical energy of rotation. The motor consists of a stationary part - stator and a rotating part - rotor. The stator winding (three coils shifted by 120°) is placed in the stator grooves.

The rotor winding is short-circuited in the rotor grooves. When the stator winding is switched on in a three-phase network, a rotating magnetic field of the stator appears, which induces EMF in the rotor winding. The induced EMF creates currents in the rotor winding.

The interaction of these currents with the stator field creates a torque and the rotor rotates in the direction of rotation of the stator field.
