Transporters screw (screw stationary conveyors, screw pumps, screw dosers) are designed for transporting in horizontal and inclined (at an angle of up to 45 °) positions, at temperatures up to 80 ° C dusty, powdery, small lumps (piece size up to 20 mm), non-abrasive and abrasive bulk cargoes.
They represent a stationary conveying device of continuous action, the working organ of which is a screw rotating in a closed chute.
Conveyors consist of a drive mounted on a common frame with a conveyor, sections of chutes with bearings installed on them and connected to each other by flanges with a gasket, sections of screws connected to each other by a bushing of a suspended bearing by means of studs, chute covers, supports, loading and unloading spigots.
Rotation from the drive is transmitted to the screw through a chain drive.
Conveyors are loaded through the loading spigot mounted on the chute cover.
