SCAT-Compact: Protected Hardware-Software Complex for Hydroacoustic and Bathymetric Surveys

Monoblock instrument complex SKAT-Compact (System of water areas and pipelines mapping) is designed for simultaneous hydroacoustic and bathymetric survey. All electronic components of the devices (echo sounder, side-scan sonar, navigation, computer for displaying and processing the received data) and built-in rechargeable battery are united in one climate-protected case.

Compact placement of all equipment in a convenient dust and watertight case saves the operator from having a large number of units, connecting cables and external unsealed USB port splitter, and allows to perform work in unfavourable conditions (rain, snow, wave slamming, etc.). SKAT-Compact has a degree of protection IP65 in the open (working) state and IP67 in the closed state.
