R30 Tram Switch with Flexible Points for Efficient Track Change (8620.00.000)

Tramway R30 arrow crossing with flexible sharps according to 640a epub (project 8620.00.000) is designed for transferring trams from one track to another. It consists of an outer and inner body with girdles (feathers) and a transfer mechanism. The bodies are made in the form of castings from high manganese steel with welded rail ends and are fixed on carriages.

Turning sharps (feathers) are made of wear-resistant rolled steel. The switch can be equipped with a system of electric heating of sharps (feathers). The switch is operated outdoors in macroclimatic regions of temperate and cold climate as a product UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69.

The transfer is designed to pass the rolling stock with wheel bandages according to GOST 25712-88.
