Practical Skills Training Simulator for Resuscitation: Dog Model

The simulator is designed as a visually accurate imitation of a dog's body with a coating imitating the animal's hair. Special elements are built into the dog's body at the bends of the joints to simulate the mobility of the limbs. The simulator provides an opportunity to practise practical skills of venous catheter placement.

Blood circulation through the vessels is presented with imitation of pressure in them. The circulatory system is fully modelled inside the simulation of the dog's body. The head of the dog's body has eyes, nose, snouts and movable lower jaw.

The mouth cavity is modelled with teeth, palate, elastic tongue. The simulator provides an opportunity to practice practical skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and tracheal intubation. Indications of the correctness of resuscitation are displayed on the tablet computer.
