FOB, CIF & EXW terms available
Description
Designed for transpedicular fixation. The transpedicular polyaxial screw has a "tunnel-type" head tapering upwards and a foot with a self-tapping conical thread that compresses in the part of the vertebral stem and a broad-bladed one for fixation in the vertebral body with the possibility of unscrewing with the retention of the thread in the vertebra. The tip of the transpedicular is blunt to prevent damage to blood vessels and the spinal cord.
There are two grooves on the upper part of the screw, 1.5 mm long and 1 mm deep. On the upper lateral part of the screw there is a recess on both sides, 2 mm high and 1 mm deep, to allow fixation of the guide on the screw. On the inner surface of the screw head there is a special clamp which fixes the angle of inclination after fixing the rod with a washer.
The inner star-shaped hole for a "TORK" type screwdriver, 7 mm in diameter. The screw has two types of threads: in the proximal part cortical, in the distal part spongy.
